Privacy Policy

Looking at Ansel Adams for iPhone and iPad. Effective 5 September 2026.

The short version

Looking at Ansel Adams does not collect, store or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What the app does with your device

Everything the app shows is included in the download: the photographs, text, letters, audio commentary and films. The app does not contact a server of ours, and we have no server that receives anything from it.

The app plays audio and video and uses the device’s storage only to hold itself. It does not request access to your camera, photos, location, contacts or microphone.

Links that leave the app

Location Explorer offers a button that opens a place in Apple Maps, and the Buy the Book screen links to the book’s page at its publisher. Those are ordinary links to other apps and sites, which have their own privacy policies; nothing about you is passed along with them.

Purchases

The app is free and contains no in-app purchases.

Children

The app is rated for ages 12 and up on the App Store. It collects no information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, the policy will change first and the date at the top will move.
