Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who also collaborate in Nine Inch Nails, created a compelling and evocative score for The Social Network. Garnering acclaim from fans and critics, they were rewarded with both Golden Globe and Oscar awards, among others, for their work.
Trent has always demonstrated a keen interest in releasing his work with the highest quality audio and video possible. He was one of the first musicians to embrace Blu-ray’s lossless high-
resolution audio capabilities with the Nine Inch Nails Beside You In Time concert disc, which MX also put together. It’s always a pleasure to work on his projects.

For the soundtrack to The Social Network, the critical goal was to provide the soundtrack in 5.1 surround sound at the same stellar sound quality of the masters. Blu-ray is an ideal format for this, and we have a passion for working with the highest-quality audio (and video) possible. We used 96kHz/24-bit LPCM uncompressed audio to provide an uncompromised listening experience, while turning the project around on an expedited schedule.
